In 2021, Nippon Connection will once again be an entirely online festival. Once again, we have pulled out all the stops to find new ways to bring our audience the authentic Nippon Connection Festival experience. Ergo, while the film program is available every day of the festival at all times, there are some more few events planned each day to offer you further enjoyment and exposure to all aspects of Japanese culture!
This year’s digital festival opening will offer a few looks at the expected highlights of this year’s film program. The ceremony will begin at 7 p.m. and is available to all for free. The event language is German.
In addition to our opening ceremony, today also hosts the first of two whiskey-tasting events, with materials being provided to participants beforehand. Hope you all already signed up!
